The Grey Horse Tavern, better known as The Frieman Hotel back in 1869. This local landmark building has enjoyed a colorful 140-year history being everything from a stagecoach stop, a livery, a waiting room for the train, a speakeasy and even a restaurant in the eighties. But in 2007 friends Linda Ringhouse and Irene Dougal purchased the property. A difficult renovation, an expensive restoration and a year later, this historic and beloved building was The Grey Horse Tavern; homage to the equestrian history associated with the property.

TAP New York – Craft Beer & Fine Food Festival is the longest running craft beer event in New York State. Currently celebrating its 15th Anniversary, TAPS NY has grown tenfold through the years and the festival now takes up the entire Base Lodge facilities at Hunter Mountain. Over 30 invited breweries representing 100 individual microbrews, offering everything from IPAs and Lagers to Wiesbiers, Doppel and Trippel Bocks to Stouts and Ales.
