AWARD COMPETITIONS

World Beer Cup (WBC) – the mission of the World Beer Cup is to create greater consumer awareness around the world about the quality and diversity of beer today. The World Beer Cup is dedicated to recognizing both the traditions and innovations shared by the brewing industry as well as those customs unique to specific countries and regions. The WBC also promotes the responsible consumption of beer as an alcohol-containing beverage and urges beer producers and distributors to encourage beer enthusiasts to savor the flavor of beer responsibly.

Great American Beer Festival Competition (GAB) – the most coveted honor in the beer industry and heralded by the winning brewers in their national advertising. Breweries enter their beers to be judged by the Great American Beer Festival’s Professional Judging Panel. The GAB Panel awards their prestigious Gold, Silver or Bronze medals that are recognized around the world as symbols of brewing excellence. The ultimate goal of the Great American Beer Festival is to identify (3) beers that best represent each beer-style category.

Australian International Beer Awards (AIBA) – the largest international beer awards, The Australian International Beer Awards are seen in media all over the globe, generating attention not only for the awards, but for all the brewers and breweries that enter. The AIBA Awards presentation dinner is held in Melbourne, Australia each year and is considered the pre-eminent showcase for premium beer and brewing excellence in the Asia Pacific region and of the world. Supported by international judges and attracting over a thousand entries from (39) countries, the Australian International Beer Awards sets the industry benchmarks and forge industry reputations.

United States Beer Tasting Championship (USBTC) – there is but one simple mission for the United States Beer Tasting Championship – to find the best beers in America. The USBTC is not a corporation, not affiliated with any beer, brewer, brewery or marketing organization. They’re simply beer lovers whose goal is to find the best beers in America and share the results with you, broken-out by more than a dozen popular beer-style categories.

The Brewing Industry International Awards (BIIA) – the most historic beer competition in the world, celebrated their 125th anniversary and acknowledged as “the best in the world”. The Brewing Industry International Awards have been dubbed ‘ the Oscars of the brewing industry’ and with good reason, a BIAA is recognition by fellow professional brewers that a beer is an outstanding commercial example of its style. All Judges are currently practising brewers and includes all new or innovative style variations. Only one beer competition can be “the most prestigious”.

TAP New York Craft Beer & Fine Food Festival (TAPNY) – the longest running craft beer & food event in New York State, TAP New York’s Beer Competition attracts brewers from across the state to enter their finest suds to compete for TAPNYs prestigious Awards. Each year at the base lodge of Hunter Mountain in the beautiful northern Catskill Mountains, TAPNY’s highly-qualified beer judges choose the best, handcrafted, full-flavored beers in New York State and also the best in the Hudson Valley.

Atlantic City Celebration of the Suds Award (ACBF) – the celebration of suds has grown to epic proportions and now considered one of Atlantic City’s largest and most anticipated live events. Thousands of local beer enthusiasts look forward to the annual Atlantic City “Celebration of the Suds” that hosts 75 Brewers and Breweries from around the world. The event’s 17,000+ tickets sold-out as excited beer lovers and critics flocked to the Atlantic City Convention Center to partake in tasting the various “nectar of the Gods”.
